Firstly, welcome.
I haven’t posted on this blog in x amount of years, but I’m here — and you’re here — for the revival. She’s been rebranded to follow along with my daily life and stories that accompany being a psychiatric nurse and psychiatric and mental health nurse practitioner student.
I wanted to showcase every piece of who I am as I exist: a nurse, a daughter, a friend, a girlfriend, a yogi, a dancer, a chef, and so on and so forth. I don’t believe it is fair to box people into a certain category of how they should be perceived. For a lengthier intro, you can head on over to my about me page.
Mission, Vision, Values
It is in my firm belief that experience is universal and by sharing my story, and stories I have come across, that people will be able to connect, learn, and grow from one another. I’m hoping that I can serve as a role model for current practicing nurses, future nurses, and humanity as a whole for what it means to approach life with consideration, truth, and resilience.
The Plan
In general, I’ll be posting on multiple platforms (how sustainable that is…I don’t know yet).
- LinkedIn is for professional purposes. On there, I’ll post about research articles, leadership, and interpersonal relations. Occasionally, I’ll throw in a thought or two about my personal feelings when it comes to work. Some nostalgic, some melancholic.
- TikTok is the *least* serious of the modalities. There will be more personal insight into daily life and turning the mundane into enjoyment. More humor.
- Instagram will be a marriage between LinkedIn and TikTok. This is where the aesthetic pictures get posted, too.
- Facebook will have a collection of my ongoings from all platforms. It is more for cataloguing and historical purposes.
- Blogging is a time for me to thought dump and provide long form, introspective reflections.
Thanks for accompanying me on this journey. I appreciate y’all’s support. I’m eagerly anticipating where this goes.
